Valentines

Sorting crayons into bags...

If you look closely you can see my plastic hammer that I used to help Mommy crunch the crayons into little pieces.

Ready to go into the oven...
                                                             Ta da.....heart shaped crayons!
Happy Valentine's Day for "crayon" out loud!

ok i did this one year with cade and it was the biggest pain in the hiney EVER!! did you use heart shaped muffin molds? i thought that is what i was using but it turned out that they were ice cube trays and the whole stinkin mess melted in the oven. our ideas are good, we just don't quite master them! yours look great! not surprised at all!

They actually weren't too bad. I got ice cube molds too at the Target dollar section and said a little prayer that they wouldn't melt. And they didn't. They were flexible so you could pop the crayons out when they were done. Things don't typically go that easliy for us either---trust me.

BTW, LOVED Clara's birthday cake and theme. Did you make that cake? That is definitely something I do not do well.
