Grandma and Grandpa come for Christmas!

Grandma and Grandpa got to come and visit a couple of weeks ago and boy were the girls excited! Mom and Dad were too. :)
We went out to eat a couple of times,

got our nails done,

worked lots of puzzles and games,

and helped Grandpa cook breakfast.

We also went to see some pretty Christmas lights

Boy was that tiring. :)

And went to Christmas Eve service.

All to lead up to CHRISTMAS!!!

So happy they were able to come and spend the holiday with us.

Teah Turned 5!

Can't believe this little punkin' is 5!

Here was a little somthin' from Mimi and Pop Pop

And Grandma and Grandpa...

And Mommy and Daddy (and Tessa).

On her actual birthday Daddy and Mommy took T to see The Penguins of Madagascar....followed by dinner at Red Robin.

Cuz a birthday just isn't a birthday til' the folks at Red Robin sing. :)

A few days later we had her party. She chose an arctic animal theme at our house.

So we made polar bears, did some ice fishing, at some fun treats like (pretend) sushi.

But most popular was definitely the balloon man.

This poor guy was cornered for majority of the party unable to take a breath.

Time for polar bear cake/cupcakes.

And every kids' favorite: PRESENTs!

I'd say a good time was had by all.

Especially our forever little T.

Deer Love

So we've decided that the deer around here must be fond of our lighted deer because one night we looked out and this huge guy was standing in our yard staring right at us.

The next night a girl....

And her friend...

make that three friends.

The girls were convinced they were reindeer. :)

Tessa the Artist

Couldn't resist to share this drawing of the Grinch that Tessa drew just by looking at a picture on the computer. Proud Mama moment. ;)

Santa's Workshop

Jingle was up to it again. He created a Santa's workshop for the girls: complete with a toy invention and inspection station and a gift wrap station.

The girls were so excited they started wrapping anything they could get their hands on and putting them under our tree. :)

Annual Parade of Lights and Weekend Downtown

Every year we get a hotel room downtown and brave the cold to see the Parade of Lights.

We're not out in the cold too long though. Here we are at the Cheesecake Factory. Yum!

The kids' favorite part is the hotel for sure! Silly monkeys.

Oh and of course the hotel pool. (That actually might be first.)

This year we got to go to a special breakfast the next morning at Maggianos where the girls got to meet Santa!

Fun weekend for sure!
