A Little Explanation

The next three videos show what a few days can do as far as confidence goes. I have been cruising around furniture and standing/walking by holding one of Mom or Dad's fingers for the longest time. It wasn't until very recently that I discovered I could stand without holding onto anything at all (with a lot of encouragement). I have taken a few steps but am much more comfortable crawling right now. I don't think it will be long though until I am taking on the house by foot rather than by knee!

You mean I can stand on my own?

With a little help (and lots of encouragement) I am learning that I can stand (on purpose) without holding on!

No Help Necessary...

I am now able to stand up in the middle of a room without pulling myself up first--just not so sure what to do once I'm up.

So Confident, I could Laugh ...Literally

As you can tell, I am quite proud of my ability to stand. Look out world!

My First Steps!

I've recently gotten up the courage to finally let go and stand on my own.
I went even further by taking about five steps!

I am so proud of myself that I clap and squeal when I practice.

Check out those Pearly Whites!

I'm sure you've been noticing by my latest pictures that I am getting a mouthful of teeth. Mom isn't even sure how many I have yet because I won't let her look (the only way she can see is if Dad holds me upside down). Whatever the count, there are a bunch. No wonder I've been a little cranky lately!

Trip to Oregon

We just got back from Oregon to celebrate Grandma and Aunt Tammara's birthdays. I am getting pretty good at traveling.
I had a great time with everyone. Here is a picture of me and Aunt Em.

I love playing with my cousins Calvin and Sam.

Happy Birthday Grandma Nadine!

Buckin' Bronco

Go horsey go!
I'm ready for the real thing!

A Little More Practice

So, I'm still not walking (alone anyway) but I'm getting close. (As you can see I'm barely holding on.) Mom and Dad have determined that I don't do anything without being 100% sure. Mom thinks I'm going to be a perfectionist like my dad. What's wrong with that?

Ready for Gymnastics?

I love to stand on my head and giggle.
Peek a boo!

Spaghetti

Mom and Dad have discovered that I am much more willing to
eat different things if I can do it myself.
I don't see what all the fuss is about...this is easy!

Who Knew Clean up Could be Fun?

Helping Mom put away our village Christmas snow.
I think I got it all.

Hey..how did that get up there?

Good Morning!

Mmmm...Love those pancakes!

All in a Morning's Work

Mom decided to follow me around with the camera this morning to see if she could capture the mischief I can get into in a span of about 15 minutes. Trust me, this is nothing. Mom says she can't keep up so she may as well join me...whatever that means. First stop: the bookshelf...
Better pay a visit to the closet...

Maybe I'll stop in my room to have a look at my toys...

Not much here in the guest room...

Time for a little R&R if I could just get this TV on.

Playtime in the Kitchen

Yeah! A drawer just for me!
Got...to...get...this...pan...

Mom, can't you see I'm busy?
