Up to No Good

Mom turns her head for a minute and what does she find?

Just checking in on the fish. Don't worry about me!

Mmmmmmm...French Fries!

One of my newest favorites: anything I can dip. I like to dip it as far into the sauce as I can. lick it off, and dip again. Mom says it is pretty hard to watch.
Here I am eating french fries with Daddy dipped in Ranch.

Too bad I really don't eat much, if any, of the fries. Sure love that ranch though!

More Preschool

So Mom has been trying to get me to sing My Ms. Bobbi song so that she could post it on the blog. However, I have decided I'm over it I guess. Basically it is very similar to every other song I create. (I like to pick a word and repeat it over and over again to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle). Maybe Mom will get one of them on camera one of these days. As for Preschool: I am loving it! I like to carry my own backpack and march my way inside like a big girl. I don't cry a tear when Mom leaves and am excited when she gets back. Mom says that has made it so much easier on her too.

First Day of Preschool

As you may notice, I was in a mood this morning. Mom said it just made it easier to drop me off at my first day of preschool.
This is me saying "No!" everytime mom got out the camera.

What can I say, I was in a hurry.
Preschool update: My first day went really well. I didn't even cry when Mom left. My teacher, Ms. Bobbi was really nice. Infact, so nice I created a song just about her. (Mom will try and get it on camera for everyone to hear.) I think I'll be ready to go back on Wednesday. We'll see.

Fun at the Park

Using my new expression: "Yee-haw!"
Got the Whole World in my Hands

Gotta love sand.

Slow and steady.

I made it!

Tessa and Tate

Tate got to come over the other night while his parents went out. We had a blast! Here we are watching Dora while waiting for our pizza to come.
I showed him my playhouse.

And then we ran around the yard with Dad. Mom says it doesn't take much to entertain (almost) 2 year olds. Whatever...we sure had fun!

Wheeeee!

Mommy and Daddy and I went downtown yesterday. I got to ride the Light Rail for the first time. "Wheeeeeee!!!!"

Winter in August?

If Mom leaves the coat closet open, she has to expect I'm going to find something fun to do inside!
This glove will work nicely.

First time in the Ocean "Here it comes!"

California

We just got back from our trip to California. So fun! Sure loved the ocean!
And the sand!

Building a castle with my cousins.

More swimming at Uncle Tom and Aunt Em's pool.

So cool.

Family Photo

Trying to get a family photo.
This is Mom's favorite. (Check out my face).

The best we could get.

Vacation

We're leaving on Saturday morning for a short but well needed vacation to California. So excited to visit with family and to see the ocean for the very first time! I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures when we get back. We'll be back late Tuesday! See you later!

A Little Light Reading

Mom walked in and found this: Me on my potty doing a little reading. (Seat up and all.) No I am not potty training yet...although this is my favorite seat in the house!
Deep into a good book.

Enough please. Do you mind?

Farrah Hair

Someone recently told Mom that I have "Farrah Fawcett hair". She'd never thought of it that way but it is sooo true! Not that we have a problem with Farrah Fawcett's hair but on a 21 month old, it is a little much. I have so much hair (I know, not a bad problem to have) but I won't let Mom put anything in it to keep it back (atleast for more than five minutes). Don't try to come near me with scissors either or I'll scream and flail around! (Has Mom mentioned I'm strong willed?) So unless we come up with another option, I guess I will continue to have Farrah Fawcett hair. This is me straight out of bed in the morning!

News

I've got some news that I'm so excited to share. Maybe you can figure it out by my shirt in this picture or the one on the top of the blog.
Yep, you guessed it! I'm a big sister in training. (I'm working on being a little gentler with my own baby). Look below at the ultrasound pics. You may just find out if I'm going to have a sister or brother!

Little Baby ?????

Doing a head stand...always moving!
Profile and spine.

Strong heartbeat.

Little tiny foot. So that's what I've already been feeling!

Drumroll please.....It's a girl! Don't ask me how they know from this picture but they were 100% sure. Tessa's going to have a little sis!

Where have we been?

Swimming, swimming, and more swimming! Mom got a job helping a friend with her pool business. So we've been checking out different pools making sure they are doing their job right! Good thing I love to swim!
My friends Tate and Averi have been able to come along and swim too. Love them!

Gotta love cupcakes after a hard day at the pool!

So Silly

Little Lefty

Nobody has told us for sure but I do everything with my left hand.
Sure do love to color!

Happy 4th of July

  1. We were waiting to see if we'd get to go see fire works but it rained all evening so we decided to stay home. Oh well. Hope everyone had a happy fourth of July!
