Where Did My Little Girls Go?

Took the girls to my hair salon to get hair cuts and they asked to get it straightened. Check them out!

Teah actually asked me, "Mom, can I have my old hair back?"

You know it's almost winter in Colorado when sitting/playing on the couch makes your hair look like this. Yikes! :)

Tee Tee's First Hair Cut

 We finally decided it was time to give Teah's head full of hair a little trim. For the very first haircut---she handled it like a champ.

 This was pretty much her face the entire time. But no crying.

 I promise....I tell her she can smile.

 I think she'd make an excellent poker player with that face--don't you?

 Love the little toes.

 I mean seriously---even a sucker and this was all the emotion shown. (Okay, not really...once we got out of there and into the car she was so excited and kept saying she wanted to go back. Funny kid.)

Straight hair continued...

 So the day after Tessa's favorite day of her life straight hair day, although her hair wanted so badly to go curly again, it managed to stay somewhat straight for yet another day. Little sis wanted to try it out too so we tried as well as we could to straighten T's hair too.

Changes

 Do you recognize this little face? Mommy took me (Tessa) to the hair salon with her today and the lady asked me if I wanted to try and go straight today. Of course I didn't hesitate cuz I'm always asking Mommy if I can have straight hair like my cousin Addy.  Funny how you always want what someone else has.

 When Mommy saw me she was so surprised. She said she loved it but loves my curls too. If it were up to me I would wear it like this every day but Mommy said we should compromise and switch back and forth. We'll see. 

 Speaking of changes...guess who's using the potty?

 That's right...Teah! She got some new big girl panties and was so excited that we just decided to give them a try. She hasn't had an accident in three days so I'm thinking she's ready. 

My goodness these girls are growing up too quickly.

Haircut Time

Mom and Dad decided they missed seeing my cute lil face so they decided to face another haircut. (The last one, about this time last year, didn't go over so well.)
Thank goodness for the horsey. I had a ball.

Farrah Hair

Someone recently told Mom that I have "Farrah Fawcett hair". She'd never thought of it that way but it is sooo true! Not that we have a problem with Farrah Fawcett's hair but on a 21 month old, it is a little much. I have so much hair (I know, not a bad problem to have) but I won't let Mom put anything in it to keep it back (atleast for more than five minutes). Don't try to come near me with scissors either or I'll scream and flail around! (Has Mom mentioned I'm strong willed?) So unless we come up with another option, I guess I will continue to have Farrah Fawcett hair. This is me straight out of bed in the morning!
