Glamour Birthday Party

Tess got to go to a couple of her best friends' (twins) birthday party a couple of weeks ago.

It was at a hair salon and oh so girly.

Tess got her hair put up like Cinderella and loved it!
(Because Mommy didn't do it {wink}.)

She also got to pick out a pretty gown and get her nails painted.

Talk about a perfect girly birthday party.

Oh and now makeup.

Pretty as a princess.

Check out these beauties!

Mr. Getchel Kisses a Pig!

So, Mr. Getchel (the school Principal) promised the kids if they earned enough money from the fun run he would kiss a pig.

And here she is in all her glory.

And here is the world's largest chicken (AKA: Mr. Getchel) trying to run from it.

As you an imagine this raised quite a stir with the kids and they weren't going to let him get away without kissing that pig!

And so he did. :)

Balloons

The four of us headed out to breakfast a couple of weeks ago and the kids were thrilled to see there was a "balloon man". So not only did they get balloons, but Teah now wants the same balloon man for her birthday party. We shall see....

Anniversary Dinner

Hey look at this! Mom and Dad actually make an appearance! Mimi and Pop Pop came to visit and we even got a date night--and just in time for our 8 year anniversary.

Somehow I managed to get NO pictures while they were here. Sorry --Hope you know how much it is appreciated.

New Jammies

Both girls wanted footy jammies now that the weather is starting to get a bit nippy. And Mom loves it.

Footy jammies = snuggly kiddos. :)

Iron Horse Fun Run

The school year started off with a bang as well as the first fundraiser of the year.

The kids were sponsored to run between 30-35 laps. (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa and Mimi and Pop Pop--the school made their goal!!)

 And they're off...

Run Tess run!

Tess made her goal of 35 laps!

And loved every minute of it. :)

A New School Year

Way late in posting first day of school pics but better late than never, right?

Anyway, this was T's first day at a new preschool.

As you can tell, she was a little sad and scared. I believe her words to me as we were leaving were, "Mommy, I'll always remember the good times we had." (Stab to the heart.)

Tessa on the other hand, was about as ready for first grade as a kid could be.

Especially with her new backpack!

Big sis helped little sis feel a bit better.

And Teah ended up having a wonderful first day (and loves school now).

Especially with her BFF, Paige by here side. :)

Back to School Countdown

Delirium has finally set in. Good thing school was just about to start!

Family Reunion...of sorts

Daddy's family came to visit us over the summer.
Tom first...so we put him to work! :)

We had lots of fun including: Paddleboating

a night out on the town,

matching shirts,

Waterworld,

and a ball game. Never a dull moment with those Watermans.

But they make for great memories.

Fun in the Sun

Little bathing beauties....
