Snowman Party

So Teah's 2nd birthday was yesterday (the 18th). What better way to start the day than a room full of balloons. (FYI: the safari hats are from a birthday party from the day before. I told you---birthday season.)

Big sis looking cute in her hat.

Here is the excited birthday girl.
 Love playing with balloons.

T's first gift from Mommy and Daddy. I loved it too.
Can you tell?

 Opening Grandma's gift.
 What a great day!
And here was the other gift from Mommy and Daddy. Gotta find a way to get that energy out!

Waiting for our friends and the party to begin. (Yes T is still in Jammies. Can't get dressed too soon or our party outfit will be a complete mess.)
The house looks ready for the snowman party.

 Here's the little birthday snowman!
 Making a melted snowman craft.

 Cake time!

And now...more gifts. Mommy let people know T was into babies and they listened. We have so many babies we can't decide which one to play with. I have a feeling Santa may be bringing a baby or two as well. Good thing we love 'em!

Happy birthday little T! We love you to pieces!

Guess Who?

Can you guess where we found Jingle this morning? Ok I'll tell you. He was under the tree reading Twas the Night Before Christmas to some of our stuffed buddies!

Table Transformation

A while back, Mommy got a table and chairs from the Goodwill.
And although they served the purpose, they needed a little love (aka: color).
 hello spray paint.
Add a little chalkboard paint and it takes on a whole new life.

Jingle Update

So the other day we found him sitting in our Christmas tree with a trumpet ornament in hand as if he was getting ready to play us a tune.
And this morning we found him in our pantry....drinking syrup from a straw! Where is that silly elf going to end up next???

Posing under the Christmas tree (Take 3)

About as good as it gets.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We finally got around to putting up the tree. I say finally because I have been begging Mom since Thanksgiving. So excited!!!

Santa Train

We went up to Georgetown to visit Santa and ride a train! Although I was so excited to see Santa, once we were actually there I was a little scared (until he'd leave and then I'd want to see him again.) Teah was definitely unsure of the bearded man.

Our friends Jay and Jard and their kids got to go with us.
" Not so sure about this Mom. Please don't let go."

 Check out the view.

And there was a really cute conductor man that came around and punched everyone's tickets---just like in the Polar Express.
 Mason loves Teah.
 A few more mountain pics.

Jingle

So you've probably heard about the Elf on the Shelf (You can find them just about anywhere these days.) Well, the other night, ours showed up at our front door. Mommy read the story about how he is Santa's helper and that each night he flies back to the North Pole and reports to Santa how we've been behaving. Then he comes back and hides in a new spot every morning for us to find him. I wasn't so sure about this guy at first (we call him Jingle). I was afraid he was going to be flying around my room in the middle of the night. But Daddy told me to tell Jingle not to fly around my room and I'm pretty sure he listened. At least so far. The first morning Teah found him sitting on our fuzzy jar.
And this morning...he was taking a marshmallow bath in the sink. What a sense of humor that Jingle has. Looking forward to seeing where he'll land next. Stay tuned.
