Special Visitors

So Mimi and Pop Pop came to visit us at the new house. We had lots of fun as usual. Thanks again to Mimi for taking most of the pictures. Maybe if someone would get Mommy a really nice camera for Christmas, she would be much better at taking pictures and posting them on the blog. *Wink.* (It's worth a shot anyway).
 Posing in our new jammies.

 making rice krispy treats...
 Playing legos with Pop Pop...
Just waking up with Mimi. (This picture also reminds me that I haven't shown many (any) pics of the new house. Working on it...I promise!)
 "Cheese"

We took our usual trip to the Children's Museum and I got to show Pop Pop my favorite: the bubble room.

waiting for that bubble to drop.

 Stopping to smell the flowers.
 and play with trains...
and do a little grocery shopping.

Can't forget to do a little fishing.

 Wheee!!

 Silly Pop Pop
 You don't scare me.
 Fire engine time...

Taking a little break before it's time to leave.

ANd of course...my favorite part: my new bike! Thanks Mimi and Pop Pop!

Once again, a great visit! Thanks guys for everything!

Playdates

Kyle and Paigie came to play the other day. So we decided to have a picnic in the basement.
And then make a racetrack out of noodles...
 to race whoppers of course!

Bending Practice

So lately when I wake up early I crawl into bed with Mom and we turn on the Tv. We've been catching a yoga show that I am very interested in. SO the other day, I asked Mommy to pull down the couch cushions to do "bending practice". Notice Teah is  doing it right along with me.

Sometimes she needs a little help and who better to help her than the expert herself.

More Summer Fun

Another hot day = more water fun. Even if it meant just putting our feet in a little creek that ran through Belleviewe Park.

Fountain Fun

We've been having extremely hot temperatures here for the last couple of weeks so the only thing to do outside involves water.

And wagon rides with cookies don't hurt either.

We heart shoes

Gotta love Mom's heels.

Little Animals

Please disregard the missing pants.

Random

Teah actually moved all of these chairs one by one into the kitchen like there was serious strategy involved. Funny girl.

Fish

Last weekend we took a trip to the aquarium. All I can say is that I have never seen   someone get so excited about fish. Pretty cute.
Check out the giant turtle behind us.

Here I am with Daddy feeding a manatee. It would actually come up and suck the little fish out of your hand. So weird and a bit scary. I had to close my eyes when it came near.
 Here's T giving it a try.
We won the battle and convinced Mommy and Daddy to buy us suckers. (Actually Mom and Dad are the real suckers. )

Happy Fourth of July

Our day started out at the pool---never can go wrong there.

Later that evening we spent it together seeing the fireworks at Salisbury Park. That evening went from this...

to this...(not sure what's going on here. Gotta do what we gotta do to entertain ourselves before the firework show.)
to this....(thank goodness for glow toys)
to this. Hope your Fourth of July was as eventful as ours.

Rainbow Rice

 First step---scoop into bags.
Add some food color (Mommy added rubbing alcohol too)...and squish.
Had to take a picture of our favorite friend who is always right there in the middle of every activity...yep, Char Char.
Teah was a good rice squisher too.

The hardest part:  time to let it dry.
FInally ready to play with. The perfect stuff to scoop, "plant flowers" with, make "fancy dinners" as Tessa always says, and whatever else your imagination comes up with.
