A Little Summer Getaway

We recently took a trip to Indiana to see Mommy's side of the family. Mimi retired from teaching and we wanted to be there to celebrate with her. Here are some pics of us in the airport. It was Teah's first plane trip and my first one with my very own seat. Mommy and Daddy were pleasantly surprised with how well we did (on the way there---the way back was a little different story). Teah slept most of the way and I watched some videos on the dvd player.

Here we are at Uncle Craig's house with cousin Addy. As you can see, it takes a few shots to get us all looking at the camera. Aren't we cute?

Working on our masterpiece.

I was having so much fun I didn't want to leave. So Addy and I crawled into her bed and pretended to be asleep. I guess the giggling must have given us away. It was a good effort though.
We had a lot of fun with Mimi and Pop Pop. Lots of giggles and snuggles.

Our cousins Lilly and Claire came to visit with Uncle Mike, Aunt Abbey, and Aunt V from St. Louis. We had so much fun visitng and playing.
We played in the fountain--and got pedicures. (Note Addy's feet in cups of water.)

My turn! My turn!

What next? Dumping water over our heads of course!

A little water=so much fun!

Girls' night out.

Five little cuties.

We even got to break out the sprinklers (or "Sprinkles" as I called it). Check out these action shots.

BRRRRRRR!

Chatting it up with Pop Pop.

Time for a little break.

Playing dressup in all of Mimi's fun costumes. Here I am as a rockin' butterfly.

Addy as an angel,

Me as an angel/ballerina/butterfly,

a mermaid,

and of course Snow White! What girl doesn't like to dress up?

Out to eat on our last night there. Mimi and Teah after eating some cereal. (Not sure she ever actually got any in her mouth but it was a good effort none the less.)

Craig and Beka

Uncle Craig and I dancing. Kind of blurry but kind of a fun pic too.

The whole group minus Craig.

Another shot minus Pop Pop.

Who would have thought I'd like Johnny Cash?
Anyway, this little video kind of captures the overall mood. It was a great trip full of lots of laughs, fun, family, and wonderful memories! We love you guys!!

Sweet Potato

Not so sure that I like cereal but I am loving sweet potatoes! I also like them much more when I'm sitting in Sissy's chair!

Planting Time

Planting some pumpkin seeds with Mommy.

Putting the seeds in the hole.

Time to cover it with dirt.

Now on to the watermelons.

Welcome to my very own house and garden!

Please excuse the sad looking sunflowers on the right. These were the same ones that started in tiny pots. We'll see if they actually bloom.

See ya later!
