Growing a Little More Every Day

S-t-r-e-t-c-h!

Even if it is just gas, I'll take a smile any day.

Just a Swingin'

Such an angel. Too bad I am still sleeping during the day. At night...not so much.

Baby Eskimo

Don't mind the bath part, but the getting out part is a little rough. Why does it have to be so cold?

Breakfast is so much better when you help make it.

Can We Fix It? Yes We Can!

Whenever Teah cries downstairs I run over to her telling Mommy "I fix it?" I then go to the tool drawer, find little screws and any tool that I can reach, act like I'm fixing the pack and play, and place them on Baby Teah's blanket. All of this while singing the Bob the Builder theme song. Am I a good big sister or what?

Need I say more?

Tessa's Antics

So anyone who knows me knows I like to do things myself. Lately I have a thing with getting naked. (Mom has found me a few times standing in my crib wearing nothing but a huge grin.) Probably means I'm ready to start potty training but Mommy's not quite ready. Stat tuned, I'm sure that will be coming in the not too far off future. And with it, I'm also sure there will be some funny (maybe not so funny to Mom) stories.

Great Big Sis

So far I have handled the job of big sister extremely well. I love Teah so much and always want to be around her. Sometimes Mom thinks it is almost a little obsessive but I guess that is better than not being interested at all. I am still working on the concept of "gentle" but I really do mean well. Here I am swinging Teah. I am always wanting Mommy to put her in here so I can push her. If Mom turns her head for a second though she may find Teah almost airborn. (Remember, we are still working on "gentle".) One thing for certain: Teah will be one tough cookie.
Here I am trying so hard to refrain.

As Mom mentioned earlier, I am constantly needing to know where Teah is. This is me right after bath. No time to dry off, I have sisterly duties to fulfill.

Sleep, sleep, & More Sleep

That's what has been going on around here for Teah (during the day anyway). For Mom...not so much. How one could sleep through a screaming toddler and three large, very loud dogs we're not sure. When there's a will, there's a way I guess.

Week of Firsts

Such a good big sis.
First "bath" at home.

Proud Mimi.

Sleeping with Pop Pop.

And lounging with Uncle Craig.
Thanks everyone for making our Christmas so special.

Dress up

Perfect attire: hard hat and high heels
What a funny girl.

I Heart Santa

As usual, Santa went out of his way again this year and I got everything and more that I could want. Take a look at a few of my favorites...
Every girl has to have her own set of wheels don't they?

Working on my ABCs.

And of course, my brand new kitchen! Thank you Santa!

She's Here!!!

So, Mommy went into labor at about 1AM Friday morning, December 18th (After getting home from Zoo Lights...see pics below). Mommy and Daddy called Aunt Jay and she came over to stay with me until morning and then brought me to her house to play with Mason and Gavin. Because of the H1N1, I wasn't able to come to the hospital. So I didn't get to meet my new baby sister until Saturday evening when they got home. Check out the pictures below. Miss Teah Grace (pronounced Tia) was born at 10:20 AM December 18th. She was three weeks early but weighed a healthy 6lbs 12 oz and was 19 inches long.
Snug as a bug in a rug.

Here I am being introduced to my little sis for the first time. So far, Mommy has been so surprised at how well I've handled everything. I love to touch her and help when she cries. I even sing "Rock-a-bye Baby" (which definitely needs to be caught on camera) when she's upset. So far, so good. Mommy was so worried that I would feel replaced. We'll see if/when the novelty wears off.

Love my baby sis. (Don't mind the attire and hair. I spent the day at a Bob the Builder themed birthday party.)

Kisses.

Playing with my Strawberry Shortcake house...a gift from baby Teah.

Zoo Lights

Last week we went to Zoo Lights with Mason and Gavin. I never can decide if I want to ride or walk. So, I do both.
Gotta love a giant peacock with lights.

Deer too. What a fun night!

Christmas Lights

Last weekend we went downtown Parker and watched as they turned on all the lights at O'Brien Park for the first time this season. So fun!

I loved the lights but I have to admit, the best part was eating snacks on the way home!
