Thanksgiving

So while Mimi and Pop Pop were here, we all went up to Breckenridge for Thanksgiving.
Daddy bought me a sled (as you can see he's a little too big for it) thinking I would love it.

I WAS NOT feeling it. Atleast not that day.

I did enjoy the dog park though.
Here doggy doggy!

Mostof all, I enjoyed just playing and relaxing back at the lodge.

Overall, it was a great Thanksgiving!

School

Here are a few pics Mom took the other day when she dropped me off at preschool. This is my teacher, Miss Bobbi.

As you can probably see I am loving school and look forward to going on Mondays and Wednesdays. I am becoming such a big girl!

Newest Stats

So I went to my two year appointment yesterday. Everything is right on track and I'm right where I am supposed to be. Even my many ups and downs (aka: mood swings) mean I am a perfectly normal two year old. I was measured at 27 pounds which puts me in the 53rd percentile for weight and 34.5 inches tall which puts me at the 70th percentile for height. The doctor told as that they used to tell people at two years, you double my current height to see how tall I will be. If that were true I am looking to be close to 5 foot 9!!! The doctor then told us that a more accurate measure is to take 4 inches from dad and average with mom's height. That would put me between 5 foot 4 and 5 foot 5. That is more like it even though I will still pretty much tower over mom. Not so sure how she feels about that.

Happy Halloween

We started our day with a Halloween party where I got to do some fun projects.
First, it is very important to listen to directions.

And let Mom show me what to do.
Then I got to try it out on my own.

Here is Mom making a spider out of a sucker and pipe cleaners. As you can see I could really care less. I just wanted a sucker!

Here I am helping Bob the Builder with his tools.

We finished the day trick or treating in downtown Parker.

Here is Mom carrying me thru the haymaze after I decided I wanted to crawl thru the muddy water (see my knees).

Here I am in full costume. Mom and Dad tried over and over to put "whiskers" on me with black makeup. I ended up with final say on that one.

Take 5

One would think getting a quick picture of three cute kids dressed in their Halloween costumes would be fairly simple. Not quite.

That's about as good as it's gonna get!

Independence

So, my latest finding (aside from the fact that I can climb almost anywhere, including into my high chair by myself): light switches. Although they may not be very exciting to most, I find them to be so fascinating. How I never really noticed them before I'm not sure. But now, whenever I enter a room I must turn on the light --most of which I can't reach by myself quite yet so I have to find other means. Here is one I was able to find and work all by myself! "I do it! I do it!"

Snow Days

For those of you who aren't aware, we got over a foot of snow this past week. (4 foot drifts due to wind.) Since I really wasn't walking this time last year, this was my first "real" experience with snow. Boy did I love it. Here I am getting all geared up.
Playing in the back yard.

Mom's camera was doing funny things with some of these pictures. It looks like we live in the arctic or something. Either way, here is the snowman we built. It was pretty funny, the dogs barked at it all day and night thinking someone was in our yard. And the carrot nose lasted just about long enough to get these pictures. Silly dogs!

Just adding a bit more snow.

Dad built a giant snow hill from the top of the deck to the ground.

Wheeeeee!!!

This was day two or three. I'm helping Dad shovel the sidewalks. Got to get ready for those trick or treaters!

Whew! This is hard work!

Love, love, LOVE the snow!
